Account & Data Deletion
How to permanently delete your account, workout history, and personal fitness telemetry from FitApp.
At FitApp, we respect your absolute right to control your personal data. In full compliance with Google Play Store User Data policies and global privacy standards, you can delete your account directly from within the app at any time.
How to Delete Your Account in the App
Account deletion can be completed within 30 seconds from your mobile phone:
- Open the FitApp mobile application on your Android or iOS device.
- Log in to your account.
- Navigate to the Profile tab at the bottom right.
- Tap Edit Profile or scroll to the security section.
- Select Delete Account and confirm the prompt.
- Your account and data will be permanently deactivated and erased immediately.
What Data Will Be Deleted?
Upon deleting your account, the following records are permanently erased from active production systems:
- Profile & Credentials: Full name, email address, phone number, password hash, and Google OAuth associations.
- Workout Logs & Routines: Logged exercises, sets, reps, custom training schedules, and workout session history.
- Biometrics: Body weight, height, body measurements, and body fat tracking logs.
- Milestones & Badges: Achievement streak records and digital milestone certificates.
- Device Tokens: Push notification device tokens and notification history.
Data Retention Standards
In accordance with financial compliance laws and regulatory tax guidelines:
- Financial & Billing Records: Invoices and Razorpay payment transaction IDs are retained strictly for the legally required duration (up to 7 years) solely for tax audit purposes.
- De-identified Analytics: Aggregated, non-personally identifiable statistical logs may be retained to monitor overall infrastructure stability.
